Deeply rooted and the main component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture is a form of complementary medicine that involves a complex system of meridiens, organ systems, and qi. While the needles may seem daunting at first sight, they only cause temporary slight sensations of numbness, tingling, tightness, and aches. 

Acupuncture is applied for a variety of conditions such as joint pains and swelling, sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, abdominal and digestive ailments, menstrual discomforts, and others. It is usually coupled with heat and electro-treatments to stimulate acupuncture points and improve efficacy.
